Maine Outsider: Invite 114 // Feb 18

Invite 114 // Feb 18

One of life's great pleasures is following up a strenuous outdoor activity with a great meal, a refreshing beer, or a fireside hang in a warm lodge. In the winter, I'd argue the peak post-outing activity is a sauna session.

Luckily, the sauna scene in Maine is exploding, and you can usually find a public sauna somewhere near a beach, trailhead, or ski area.

I recently put together a Guide to Maine Saunas. It includes 23 saunas, with filters, descriptions, and an interactive map. Check it out as you're planning your next outing.
